The Black Gorge
A deep crevasse hidden in a remote part of the Atmos. There's only one place that sees direct sunlight in the Black Gorge, for only a few seconds once a year. The gorge is filled with evil little critters and giant terrifying monsters, and since it also drains most crystals of all their power, rendering airships and weapons useless, practically no one has ever come back from its deadly clutches.
